A total of 130 valid questionnaires were received in this survey. The enterprises participating in the questionnaire survey are mainly concentrated in the eastern region, accounting for 76.92% of all valid questionnaires. The main provinces and cities are: Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Shanghai, Shandong, Beijing, Fujian, Hebei, Tianjin and Liaoning Provinces; enterprises in the central region account for 16.15%, and the main provinces and cities are: Shanxi Province, Henan Province, Jiangxi Province, Anhui Province, Hubei Province and Hunan Province; enterprises in the western region account for 6.92%, and the main provinces and cities are: Shaanxi Province and Chongqing.

The surveyed enterprises mainly cover key enterprises in the textile machinery industry such as state-owned and private enterprises, and are mainly integrated production enterprises. The surveyed enterprises showed the following characteristics: First, high-tech enterprises accounted for 46.52% of the total; second, state-owned holding enterprises were mainly enterprises directly under the central government; third, private enterprises basically underwent corporate restructuring; fourth, the scale of enterprises Mainly in the small and medium-sized enterprises, there are 2 extra-large enterprises.

The overall production and operation of the industry

-According to the statistical analysis of the questionnaire, the enterprises whose production status in the textile machinery industry is in normal or in good operation now account for 92% of the total survey respondents. In the first three quarters of 2007, 66.67% of the surveyed companies had a slight surplus, down from 62.39% expected for the whole year of 2007; 10.00% rose to 14.53% expected for the full year of 2007, indicating that the fourth quarter enterprises have greater difficulties in earnings. Among them, there are 6 loss-making companies and 2 companies with serious losses.

The survey data shows that the total sales volume of the textile machinery market is currently stable, and the proportion of the number of households with a slight increase in the sales volume of the main products of the surveyed enterprises compared with the same period of last year is basically the same as the sum of the number of households with a basic level and a slight decrease. In the surveyed enterprises, the sales price of main products was basically the same as that of the same period of last year and the sum of the number of households with a slight decrease accounted for 78%, indicating that the sales price decreased slightly compared with the same period of last year, which is a manifestation of the intensified competition of homogeneous products in the market.

The total number of households whose profit level was basically the same as that of the same period of last year and slightly decreased in the surveyed enterprises accounted for 62%, but the overall profit level increased slightly compared with the same period of last year, which is related to the improvement of product technology and the diversified development of enterprises.

According to the survey, 71.43% of the surveyed enterprises had orders from the end of last year to the beginning of this year, and those with full orders before the end of last year and no order contracts for this year accounted for 71.43%, indicating that the production of enterprises is stable and orderly. The main purpose of users buying products is to carry out technological transformation and expand production capacity, each accounting for 50%.
